HELLO AGAIN

LONG TIME AWAY!!! It happens, it is called life, right. Unexpected trips and busy schedules resulting in no blogging......but hey, here we are again. Today was a good day, have friends in town and went to the Kern County Museum; they have a childrens museum inside, the kids LOVE. Here are a few of my firefighters and their friend...and then Matthew with his so big but cute hat on. It has been soooooo nice lately, before all the rain came in, and here is a fun pic of Matthew on the grass...soaking up the sun.

A few missed layouts

Not to overwhelm you all at once here are just some of the layouts I have done....which is still a lot...sorry :)

Goodnight!

I will post more tommorow, it is after 11 and I still have a kid on my lap, who woke up screaming. So we are going night, night.....sweet dreams. (Funny pic of him the other night after he threw up all over his bed...looks so comfy in my bed don't you think.)

Layout Day 9

through MY eyes.....love this picture. This was this last summer, and dad got to go with us to the zoo, which made for a lot more pictures than usual. I love how intrigued he is by the bear. He stared at that bear for quite a while, in his daddys arms of course.
A better day today, Alleeda is feeling better, not great but better. The regrigerator decided to leak water all over everywhere inside...drips down from the freezer..not good....however, it is really clean right now...and the car wouldn't start this afternoon. Of course it appears to be fine after dad got home and jumped it once. Isn't that the way it is. I think a light got left on last night in the third row, it is the favorite new toy for my daughter, since she is getting so big, and can reach it in the booster seat, in the back where mom can't reach her. Made some homeade beans, rice and enchilladas for dinner. It was YUMMY! Time for dessert now. Have a great night.
Here is a funny video of Daniel singing his "What do you do with a stormy pirate, let them walk the plank"...to funny...ARGH. Scroll down and cilck play :)

Day 8 Layout

I made a goal last year not to develop anymore pictures...digital...unless I have scraped the ones I have...of the kids. I am almost there! What an accomplishment. I do still have a stack of untouched digital prints from this summer I am dying to dive into...but now that there I see the light, I can wait a little longer.
With still a pretty sick kid today, I had to use a swap layout, I actually just finished the other side..and I love it, too cute, but for the contest, this is what was posted...thanks Sue for the great design. I have a stack of swaps from all year, that I haven't touched. They make awesome emergency pages. When you look at the clock, again holding the same crying child, and realize you really only have 8 minutes to pull something together, swaps are awesome...and dads who can magically console and put her to sleep within minutes, after mom has tried for over an hour.
The boys went out today, with hats and sweaters...dressed themselves....and drew roads all over the patio with sidewalk chalk, then they came in and got their cars, that were lined up in a long row by the couch, and spent a good amount of time racing their cars around the track. So much fun watching them learn, grow and use their immaginations. Just fun to sit and watch them think.

Sick Kids/ Layout Day 7

Barely got the layout in on time tonight. Busy mom with sick kids, I was holding one and looked at the clock; thank goodness for swaps. Thankyou for the page creation Mariana, the colors don't look so hot with my camera tonight, but the pics beuatifully match the color scheme of the layout. Just add some mats, ribbon and pics, and presto...instant layout. If I have time to post a better pic tommorow I will, but for now, here is my layout for the day. In Vegas, on our way home from Utah....Cousins helping each other out. Too Cute.

Dance Shoes

My little Dancer helped me a lot with this quick layout. The two little ones got mom sick....fun times, exhausted and not feeling good, what you see is what you get tonight. Thank goodness daddy was such an awesome help today! Allowed me and the little ones to rest.

Christmas is gone/ Day 5 layout

The tree is down, the lights are off the house, the christmas decor is put away. I will admit that most of my Christmas decororations are Snowmen, which is fitting since it is still winter, so through Jan they will stay. Daddy had a very big helper today. The two little ones and me even got a nap in while they took down the tree and the lights. What a Saturday treat! Woke up to a clean house, and a wet boy....he just had to run and play in the rain. Had a fun evening, having three kids help dad and I shop. They were so cute with their jobs, to get the bannanas, or the celery, the Apple Juice....very cute.

I finished my layout for today. I still cannot find my pens, which I just had, I will be on a hunt this week, this page needs some journaling. It is a simple page, as always, but it was fun creating. Alleeda helped, and loved the little jewels.

Scrapbook Day 4

I must must admit this is getting fun, I am actually scrapping more than one page and am accomplishing lots. The kids are excited to see the pics of themselves, and are eager to stick them in their books. Todays was simple, I need to journal I can't find my white or metallic pen...somewhere out there...this pic was taken almost three years ago at "Just Grandma's" he loved searching for leaves on all the stairs outside.
In other news, the kids are good. Nice and WINDY today. CRAZY WIND. The kids have enjoyed watching their balls blow all over the yard, we finally stuck them in the garage. We would hate to loose them over the fence, like the awning, last wind storm. Stay warm and dry! Great buy at Albertsons, Yummy Butterball Turkey for .50 a package, orginally 3.29! Awesome huh?! Miranda you would have been proud :0)

Happy Boy

Daddy and Me
So Cute and Happy
We had to clap over and over
Loved the Car Deborah
He says Little People So Cute!

He had a fun day, not feeling too hot, but still plenty of cheezy smiles! He is officially bigger! Grandpa would be proud of how he would tear the paper, then give it to dad to throw away....trash...he learned a lot at Christmas.

Scrapbook Day 3

These are older pictures, Alleeda was just a baby. I loved both pictures so much I had a hard time deciding to do the B&W or the Color, which inspired me for a fun page.

Day 2 Scrapbook Page

Yesterdays post inspired me to create this quick page for the contest. Here is My Big BOY. I can really get into to just doing one page a day. We shall see if I can stick it out. The kids had fun cutting and using glue and stickers while I made this. Nothing fancy, not if they have to be done before 9pm.

Scrapbook Contest

A few friends and I have entered a scrapbook contest through Big Picture Scrapbooking. In order to complete the contest I have to upload a new page each day for the month of January. Here is day one! I do not care if I win any prize, but the motivation to scrap a page a day, that could establish a great habit. Good luck girls, I am watching your blogs for updates on your work.

Not So Little Anymore

My little boy is officially not a baby anymore. He has almost potty trained himself, loves to wear his "Big Boy" pants, can undress and dress himself as he pleases and Sunday night showed mom and dad that he can climb to the top bunk without any help....or ladder (which is not even in the room). Thus declaring his freedom as best as he can...."I am not a baby, I am a big boy, HEY I am almost two!"

Thus the New Year was spent taking the bunk bed apart, into two twin beds and rearranging the toys and things in the room to accomodate the change. He may think he is "big" however I am not willing to take him into the ER when he decides he is "big" enough to jump off the top. I much perfer him on the bottom for now. Life is so fun. Hope you all have had a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
