A Pink Leaf

On the way home from school yesterday, Alleeda informed me that she wanted to be a Leaf.
I asked her why, she said so she can Fly around and change colors, but mostly so there would be happy pink leaves. How cute, watching her little mind work!

*Before school we went to the park to pick leaves to bring to school for her class assigment.

A little "ME" time

My awesome sister told me Merry Christmas about three weeks ago, with a full year membership to a Climbing Gym down the street. The only condition was that we would work out together to get into shape. I am having a BLAST! Tonight, my niece encouraged me to hop off the machines and climb with her. For those who knew me at college, I did climb and hike, so what a treat it was. I will admit after 13 years of not climbing it was a bit intimidating to look down when I was near the top, and I will also admit that I climbed back down a few times as the fear is instilled in you to just "let go" and drop (I chickend out). But after going up and down a few times the excitement came back! What an awesome hour. I am so excited! I can go anytime, rain or shine. The BEST part is that this was the BEST workout EVER! Climbing will have to become a routine...warm up and then climb! SO FUN. Tiff, you are probably SO JEALOUS...you will have to come with us when you are here for the wedding! It will be so fun!
THANK YOU MISSY!

Graditude in my Heart

A BIG thanks goes out to those who have helped me out in a BIG way today! THANK YOU! As someone so wise told me today: Let those who see an opportunity to serve, SERVE. Be grateful for the Service, enjoy the Service that was done, especially if it was done for you. Thank you to those who have helped me today!
THANK YOU!

My big HELPER!

I was driving home from Target today...diapers again?!....and as I turned the rather large corner, maybe a bit faster than normal I hear a boom, boom, boom...loud crying and Matthew screaming.."JONATHAN, BABY JONATHAN, BABY JONATHAN", the bus behind me must have been frustrated as I slowed WAY down in the street, after turning my head back to see what the noise was all about. Apparently Matthew thought he was helping, when we got to Target today, as he unbuckled the baby. Little did I realize that he had UNBUCKLED the base of the Car Seat; until I stopped the car to find the baby, the car seat and the base all flipped upside down in the car. Jonathan went for a safe little ride...and so cute when I flipped him back over, smiling and laughing at me...probably thinking, 'what's all the fuss mom, I am still buckled in'. It was reassuring to see that if a carseat flips a couple of times at 40mph that the baby...even though scared, still comes out smiling. (I know too many personal friends go through major accidents so hopefully that is all the flips or testing of a carseat we will ever go through.) When we got home from getting Alleeda from school today I actually saw Matthew unbuckle Jonathan's carseat, my little culpriet, I mean my BIG HELPER!

Flag Football

The other day the kids were out back playing. I was doing dishes in the kitchen, watching them out the window, and was continually going outside to explain to the boys that Alleeda does NOT like to be tackled. I kept hearing the same answer over and over..."but mom that is how your supposed to play football"...that is when I remembered the bag of Flag Football equiptment in the garage, from our days in YM and YW with church, as soon as Kevin got home from work and dinner was over, we tought them how we are going to be playing football at our house when Alleeda wants to play. They had so much fun. It ended up being a game of who can get the most flags off of anyone...ball or no ball. We had a lot of fun...simple pleasures! If you play football with our family a quick warning...Matthew still LOVES to tackle...ball or no ball.

Still unpacking

I should be unpacking more boxes, so I can get the car in the garage...or finishing unpacking my room, as there are half opened boxes of clothes everywhere, but since Kevin hooked up the computer this morning, I have been sitting here for over an hour, checking out all that I have missed. As I was blog surfing I realized, while looking at my sisters blog, that it has been 4 weeks since I last wrote. Man where does the time go? The kids are growing so fast, Alleeda is 4, Matthew just grew a few more inches, Daniel is loving school and Jonathan was 19lbs 9 oz at his 4 month check up (Such a BIG boy). Kevin started his own company two weeks ago, and I am still trying to unpack (ha, ha) the never ending job...with 4 small kids and life happening. It is SO good to be back home. It is so nice to have family so close! So much to talk about and lots of pictures! So I will make a point to sit down tommorow and put in a new post...until then goodnight!

Give me a BITE

So tonight, I ran down to the Forks and grabbed my mom and I a famous Forks Burger. We were at the counter talking, I pulled out my burger and began to eat. Jonathan was still in his carseat playing and making noises, about four bites into my hamburger Jonathan started to cry. I looked over at him and began to talk to him, his eyes stayed directly on the burger, he followed my hand holding the burger, I took another bite and he cried again. My mom said, " he wants a bite" I looked over at Jonathan and moved the burger to his mouth jokingly saying, "do you want a bite" as I got closer he opened his mouth bigger and moved his head forward. I quickly took it away as he was trying to have a bite, and of course he started crying again. It was so funny. I pulled out the rice cereal (that we tried a few nights ago) and he was happy to enjoy dinner too. I have some fun pics that I will post as soon as we move into our house. Right now we are enjoying lots of swimming and smiles at grandmas.

Three HAPPY Months Old

Swim, Swim, Swim

We are so blessed to have such great friends and family! Especially when they let us come SWIM. Daniel has become quite the fish; sharpening up his swimming skills and getting braver each time to try new things. After a weekend full of swimming and sleeping kids, Kevin and I decided we would definatley buy a house with a pool. We would live in it, everyday of the summer, and we LOVE how tired they get when they are done! Nothing better than a warm bath, a sanck and bed after a day in the pool.

Aunt Janet and Jonathan

Janet and Bob let us come swim at their house. We had a wonderful time! The kids loved the pool and warmed up to the dogs! Kevin and I had a great evening, it was nice to talk with you guys! The kids didn't make it one mile out of your house, they were exhausted...thank you! The kids keep asking when they can go back to Aunt Janets...Daniel wants to help you pick weeds :) .....we will be calling!

Fuzzy pic...but the kids had a blast swimming at Aunt Missy's the following night! They thought it was cool to swim with Vanesssa and Stevie! Thanks! Again, Kevin and I thought it was great, as we hopped in the car they were asleep in minutes! We took a break on Sunday, and had a BBQ & swimming with the Parkes monday night. Thanks to Roberts boss, who shared his pool with us! Again the kids loved it! They do love the water!

Who doesn't love a bath?

Jonathan has always cried in the small baby bath, a few weeks ago I put him in the tub...he LOVED it. Now he smiles, kicks and plays when he takes a bath...a cute happy baby. He of course loves to look at himself in the mirror, a nightly routine.

Peek-A-Boo I see YOU

I love the big eyes

I can do anything...almost

I had a proud...I can do anything mommy moment yesterday. I took all four kids swimming at a friends pool for our wards park day.... we stayed for about two hours, I swam with the kids most of the time... I even pulled it together and brought a snack to share! It did help that they were SOOOO good! You just never know how kids will act! (I guess I can't do anything....because I neglected to take any pictures...maybe next week!) Summer is fun!

Just like a peach

I was holding Jonathan and Daniel came and sat down next to us. He rubbed the baby's head and said, "mom his head feels just like grandpa's peaches that we picked." I felt Jonathans head, and he was right...his fuzzy hair, does infact feel like a peach. I love how their little minds work!

What a TREAT!

Mariana called this morning to ask if they could come play for the day. What an awesome friend to drive almost two hours just to play! The kids had a blast; swimming, playing and getting muddy. That was a fun surprise....THANK YOU! Kevin and I enjoyed ourseleves, we hope you and Robert did too! (We know the kids did...they are were in bed as soon as you left.) Oh yeah...THANKS for making the Mango Salsa...yours always taste better than mine! YUM!

The gang eating Homemade Ice Cream Cones

Happy Fourth

What a fun afternoon and evening we had! We went to our friends Eric & Heather's house for dinner, homemade ice cream, giant bubbles, swimming and fireworks. It was quite the evening, lots of friends, food and fun. Matthew and Bridger loved the giant bubbles! The Sparklers and Snaps were of Daniel's favorites and of course we loved watching the illegal fireworks, ALL night long. It was a great evening, Kevin commented this morning how nice it was to have our kids playing and happy all night, he said that it is the first time he was able to talk and hangout without worrying about the kids, or having them come crying to us. He was right, it is so good to have them feel so comfortable that they can relax and enjoy! Thanks Heather and Eric for inviting us over! My kids LOVE your house! They will miss it!

BUBBLES....and more BUBBLES

Fireworks at the high school

This was so much fun! To bad we are moving, because we would have done this again next year! It was a BLAST. The atmosphere was really fun, and so neat to see hundreds of people stand to Pledge Aliegence to the Flag! It was awesome to her people sing the national anthem and the kids LOVED the fireworks. Little fireworks in the street are not all that exciting, I love the big productions....and this was spectacular! Matthew was so excited...clapping and cheering after each one! So much fun! Johnathan woke up right when they started and watched the entire thing!

SMILE

The kids went to the movies today at 9am with some friends then came home and swam and played until their friends left at 5pm, we ate dinner, they went swimming for a bit longer, baths and early 7:00 bedtime...Johnathan pooped all over two pajama's then went to sleep after talking and smiling with me...lots of reasons to SMILE! I hope you have a GREAT DAY....and SMILE!

A few more pics

They were just watering the flowers...right?!
More like they watered their cousin, themselves, the cars,
the ground...and lightly sprinkled the flowers.

Just hanging out at the pool.
Growing up.

Where are all the Feavers?

The Annual Feaver Family Reunion
I am so glad that Kevin made it a priority to attend the Annual Feaver family reunion. His comment was, "grandpa was always there and if grandpa went it was imporant enough to go, so we are going." Inspite of the long list of things we had to do and the price the tank of gas cost and we went. I am glad we did go! Even though we were super late...maybe everyone else came and left before we got there?! It was nice to visit with the small group that was there. The kids enjoyed cooling off in the pool and hey, Johnathan even won a prize for being the youngest one there! Pretty cool huh?! Kevin put a challenge out to us, in the car on the way to Fresno...so I put it out there for you Feavers who read this: Since grandpa is not there, lets see who can bring the best homemade peach icecream next year. For grandpa's icecream was truely missed...I heard people talk about it. Heck, I am sure we can even find some of the peaches grandpa used for his homemade ice cream :) Next year it will be 125 years that the Feavers have been in America....(Kevin's asleep but I am sure that is what he said...I will check tommorow) Pretty cool huh?! We were one of the last to leave and it was neat to hear people talk about how Grandpa Feaver (Bryce) was their favorite cousin! Then Kevin would smile and say, "well that was my grandpa!" What a Fun day. Great seeing you Aunt Janet, Uncle Gerald, Uncle Glenn & Madyeln (did I totally spell your name wrong...sorry) Oh yeah, Aunt Janet, we need your number.
The last of the Feavers!

This is an average summer day.

Picking Peaches

Thank you Uncle Gerald! The kids have not stopped talking about going to grandpa's farm and picking peaches. They have all ready asked if they could go again. Look at the smiles! Thank you! Daniel is ready to fishing with you now. We will be calling :)

Fathers Day

Do you love the silly hat the kids made for dad this year! We had an ongoing treasure hunt planned for Kevin this year for Fathers Day, except the kids couldn't stretch it out all day. The treasure hunt was over as fast as it had began. It was a fun day, can you sense the excitement that was in our home through the pictures. The kids were a lot of fun. Johnathan was tired fom all the excitement, can't you tell.
